Rottnest Island Golf Course

When the planned renovation of the Rottnest Island Golf Course was being designed, we met with Ben Davey of Davey Shearer Architects to discuss the possible use of Sanoplant to help in achieving certain objectives. There is a shortage of suitable water on Rottnest Island, so irrigation and the efficient use of water is a priority. The budget did not allow for Sanoplant to be used in the sandy fairways, but it was incorporated into the greens profile. The result has been excellent, with the greens establishing well and providing a great surface. We will be monitoring the use of water and nutrients as well as the irrigation volumes and frequency.
